We were all kind of looking at each other, wondering what we had to do. It was a great reminder to just keep working for every minute. This is the kind of challenge you have to face in the Olympics.
We were excited to go out and redeem ourselves. We wanted to show the rest of the world we're a great team. We worked hard this year. We weren't going to throw it away because of one game. We wanted that bronze medal.
We have 20 great players. We lose together and we win together.
It's great for women's hockey to see that it's not just U.S. and Canada across the board.
It's a great victory for their country and program. I just wish it didn't have to happen tonight.
