uses (Kyle) as an inspiration. He says when he thinks about Kyle, 'I haven't got any problems.' Kyle is an inspiration to people, but he may not know it.

We could feel the energy. It was a great thing having Kyle there, and our kids fed of Kyle being there.

Those guys have been coming on a win for a long time and it's exciting for your first win. It was just a great job by the guys in the pits. We put spring rubbers in and adjusted the heck out of that race car tonight - from tight to loose to just can't drive it. Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody in the gulf coast and all the National Guard folks down there helping everybody. I know there were a lot of soldiers called to duty to go down there and we're just thinking about all of them.

We had him on a set rotation. Kyle knew he was going to play 20-24 minutes a night and he made the most of it.

That's the type of play that we need going down the stretch. I can't say enough about Kyle and how he bounced back.

That's the unfortunate thing is that we needed him right away, and he helped us right away. Now you are seeing a balance of strength in his body, catching up to handle the rigors of constant pounding. You see him at full strength now. I think Kyle will continue to get better. With more minutes you should see productivity increase because he can be on the floor longer and play harder. He's not favoring a knee or something like that. He's probably going to have the other shoulder fixed after the season. So he's going to deal with that a little longer. But the lower body for the first time in his career is actually not failing him.

That was key. Kyle really got ready this summer.

That wasn't even part of the plan. Kyle was not going anywhere unless we had the right offer for somebody to get an everyday position player in here, or a DH.

That was his best score this season. I was very pleased with the way Kyle played. He is capable of playing that well or even better every time he plays. It's kind of a breakthrough for him this year and I hope he continues to play well. The rest of the team didn't play up to expectations and I'm sure they will all improve.

We've been hitting the ball better but our pitching is giving us a chance to win every game. That may the hardest Kyle has ever thrown. He was outstanding.

We're a perimeter-oriented team, so anything we get down low is very helpful. They defended Kyle pretty well ? Brunswick is a good defensive team ? but Nick really came up with some big plays.

You look at some of the throws Kyle made on the final drive with the game on the line, ... As guys settled into the game, they made big plays.

The pollsters tell me it's because of Kyle that we're picked so high. And he's definitely a huge part of that. But we have a strong group this year. One person can't do it all. It certainly helps to have him back, but he knows that baseball is a team sport. And he's on a great team.

We'd like Kyle to put together a full season like he did the first half of last season.

When you see Kyle shooting the ball the way he's capable of shooting the ball, and giving Andre more offensive opportunities, and even Sam, I think we're a more dangerous team that way.

We are relying on Elliot and Kyle a lot. It's as hard a working group as I've had man-for-man. I think there's a lot of desire, but we've got our hands full.

We're just here to do multi-car runs, try to evaluate its effect on the second car. All the aero configurations that we worked on last week, we're letting Kyle do all the analysis. He was just here (Wednesday) with his current car, so he's got a good feel for the differences between the two.

After Kyle got hurt a couple of games ago we put Guzman at sweeper and he has done such a good job that we are going to keep him there. Though he has been playing right back for two years, Derek is our best decision maker at sweeper.

The thing you also have to understand is that our strength is the depth of our team. When you have Matt Kyle and Ross Morin come off the bench in those spots, that just adds to our potential to be successful down low.

No question, to me that's a huge part of playing that position is the confidence that your teammates have in you and the intangibles that you bring to the table. I've seen that from Kyle ever since he's got here. I really have ? every time he's gone in and even in practice. He definitely has that.

Streaks are meant to be broken, and it had to come to an end. It takes the pressure off Kyle and takes the pressure off everybody, and we can just go out and play next week.

Without question, he led and the team followed his lead. Whether the offense intended to or not, the guys understood Kyle needed to be involved in the offense. The success of our team was built around him being included offensively and defensively.

Devin does a good job communicating and Joey is really fast, really quick. Kyle is just a good presence in the goal. We have options and we're starting all three to see what they can do. They're all good.

I've never been a post-up player. I think of posting up as something that accents my game. I didn't want to be put there at first. I'm not David Lucas and I'm not Kyle Jeffers. I do a little bit of everything. Basically, it was finding my role on the team because it changed from last year. I'm just trying to adapt to it. I'm not going to play post ever again in my life.

A small mistake gave the takedown to his opponent and eventually the win, but not due to lack of effort and short supply of guts. Kyle has always been a secret weapon for us, showing sporadically that he can compete with the best.

That's what Kyle does. He does the little things. You know the hustle plays, and getting offensive rebounds, and he does it every day in practice.

They tell me that 10 percent of the population is miserable and unhappy all the time, and Kyle definitely falls in that 10 percent. The vast majority of our players wanted to see him go.

Sometimes he may look like he's not in it but Kyle is just a solid wrestler.

There was a big difference in Kyle from his freshman to his senior year. A lot of that had to do with physical gains, but mentally he also showed a lot of growth. He used to get angry and frustrated on the court, even as a junior, but this year there was a big difference.

This was a group of people who accepted everybody, including Kyle Huff.

This will give Kyle a chance to learn from two older quarterbacks, which should only help his play as a quarterback.

I'm dying to fool around with the distance between Selina Kyle and Catwoman. And, you know, the whole double identity thing is endlessly fascinating. I mean, you can always find another riff for it.

The big plus for Sunderland is the return of the big lad Kevin Kyle who was a very important player for them in the last couple of seasons.
