My forecast certainly didn't factor the added payment.
I am looking at recurrent earnings growth of 10 percent in 2006 for the banks, if you strip out exceptional items. Industry loan growth should be about 8 percent this year.
That's not expected. It doesn't really affect the operations but it's something nasty in the results anyway.
They've had strong quarters before, especially the first quarter. Historically, that's been one of their strongest quarters. But whether this can be sustained, that's the next challenge.
