I grew up alone, ... I spent a lot of time in my own imagination. I watched how (Winchell) reached out to these characters, and they would reach back to him through his imagination.
I was amazed about how he brought these characters to life, ... I was fascinated watching Paul Winchell, seeing how he interacted with these puppets and created this imaginary connection with them.
It had everything white oaks for acorns, water close by, travel corridors and bedding areas.
These aren't affluent people, and they were treated with less respect than they should have.
It's fun when I get to share my message with the kids, ... I tell them straight up that these are imaginary friends, and it doesn't work unless they use their imagination.
