It has always been my ambition to win this event. I have tried two or three times before but on this occasion I knew I was coming into the race injury-free.

I was not looking for a time, I was trying to win,

I'm very happy with the time as I haven't trained since the World Championships,

I'm even more pleased to win because I've been finishing second and third a lot recently.

I hope to still challenge Paula in future years.

It's good to get back racing again and even better winning,
