He knew what he was getting into. He's such a physical player on offensive side. I don't think he'll have any problems transitioning to defense. He understands how to get after the football.
He was big for us this spring. He's only got a year there, but it was the right move. He'll do well but he'll get even better as he gets more snaps.
He had a very good spring. He showed that he can be a guy we'll count on a lot.
He's definitely a top-level gamer. He's been an amazing player all his life and we hope that continues. He might be the biggest recruit we got.
We thought he had a chance to play because of his physical body. The learning curve is usually big. He understood that and did a great job when he was in there. He caught on so quickly.
We struggled against those type of offenses last year. This spring, we got a lot of guys some reps and they did a nice job.
The speed, overall, is good. We've got a lot who can run. They've got good size on them, and they've been making plays this spring. But experience is the one thing we have to earn.
There will be some new faces, but that's a bit exciting too. There's some young guys we feel real good about who can come in and do good things.
Boy, he is a tremendous talent. There's no limit on what he can do possibly in the future. There are so many things that can happen with that man.
There's always great players who come out of the Panhandle.
He's one of our best players on defense. We're hoping to get more big plays out of him in the fall.
