I don't know that I've ever shot 68 percent in the first half and been behind.
He reminds me of (former Weber star) Jermaine Boyette because of his ability to get to the free-throw line. Not only is he a good shooter, but he's their assist and steals leader as well.
Heck gave us some problems. I thought maybe we needed to introduce David Patten to him at halftime so Dave would know who he was guarding.
I thought it was a decent game to get us ready for our league. We start off with the toughest trip in the league, and that's why we came over here, to get us ready prepared for that.
It is good to be at home, now we have to hold serve.
I think that's the type of team I see us being. I think we're a good shooting team.
I thought we were right where we needed to be at halftime.
I thought we played a lot better (than last time) and I thought we got a little careless in the second half. We quit guarding and rebounding like we needed to.
We aren't at the point yet where we have figured out that when things are going well for us we need to stay with that. I think that we get kind of bored, like things are getting easy, so let's try something on our own.
That was too little too late. Nick also, in the first five minutes, let a freshman point guard beat him to the basket for two baskets. I'm happy Nick shot in some 3-pointers but I can't find a whole lot good about our performance tonight.
We're letting guys who play like they want to be out there play right now. So far, that's working pretty well for us.
We put their worst free-throw shooter on the line and he hit four in a row.
When the game was close we didn't have enough patience. Everyone wanted to hit one out of the park.
I kept looking for a combination that would work. I was looking for five players who would score and stay in front of ball on defense. I couldn't find it.
It's real frustrating. I thought we had a lot of motivation coming into the game.
That's a team that went on the road and beat Arizona State and beat us bad down there and I'm happy with the win. I can criticize us after every win but at the end of the day that's a good win for us.
They played tonight like the team picked to win the league. All of our guys looked like the deer in the headlights.
We control our destiny as far as getting into the conference tournament. We played with a lot of toughness (on the last road trip) and came back strong.
