I don't care to lose two games as long as we're getting better. We got two good tests this week, and we feel like we got better this week.

Our kids were ready and they were focused and that set the tone for us the first three quarters. When we play inspired and play with effort like that, we feel like we can play with a lot of people.

It (dunk) is always good for the crowd. We have been waiting on that to happen, because he (D.J. Shannon) has done it in practice a lot.

I think this will help the returning players a lot. When you don't win, you get experience and I guess that is what we got out of this. It is still real disappointing. I don't like experience, I like to win and achieve something. This shows them (players) what it takes and what you have to do. Hopefully we will take it and build on it.

We were nervous coming in. We knew they were going to be in better basketball shape than they were the first time we played them, and that ended up being true to form. They played us really good for a half, and then we turned it on in the third quarter and did what we had to do to get the win.

We didn't have it and that happens sometimes, but we still have to find a way to win.

We knew they (Oneida) were going to be ready, and I think we were too. We had to match their intensity and I think we did that.

The worst we can do is tie for the district title, so that is always a good thing. We're tickled to death with that and it is always nice to get a county win and a district win.

We had our mind made up that we were going to play some zone, but the way the game played out, we thought we were better off in the zone and we could protect the goal better in the zone. Obviously, it won the basketball game for us.

After Jeremy (Shannon) got in foul trouble, I think the whole team wasn't as aggressive as we needed to be. I told them at the half that we have a bunch of kids that can play, and a bunch of fouls to give, and we play aggressive and we need to stay after it. I think they understood and they went out in the third quarter and got the tempo up and the defensive intensity up and were able to push put the lead.

This was a great season and I'm so proud of these guys for fighting through what they fought through and the adversity they have been through.

I love those guys (seniors) and I will do anything for them. I hate to lose them.

I'm proud of my kids, because they fought back and they didn't lay down. We got back in the game and we still had a chance at the end.

Any time you can beat a county team it is a good thing and a district win makes it even double sweet.

You can talk about his on the floor game all you want to, but off the floor, he has led very positively in a great manner.

The lead was what won the game for us. We knew they (Rockwood) were not going to give up. They've got too good a team to get beat that bad.
