I was like, ?Get off my arm,' and he wouldn't move. It's spring training and he's known for something, so nobody really cares. I could care less. I'll get over this. Hopefully, everybody else does.
He hits like a woman. Such a woman move, man.
When I saw him get the ball, I knew it was going to be close. So, I was just trying to go as hard as I can. He was blocking the plate, so I just tried to go through him. I'm not the type to run people over.
We scored a lot of runs, but we also gave up a lot of runs. As far as hitting the ball, we all felt comfortable. It's disappointing. A loss is a loss. You don't want to lose, especially in a day where you score a lot of runs.
A situation like that, you just don't think about anything ... you just go get it. They were scoring runs ... we wanted to get out of that inning any way you can. You just go until the wall stops you.
This is fun. I should do this more often.
I'm not a fourth outfielder and I'm not a Minor Leaguer. I think I've done enough to prove I'm a Major Leaguer. ... I expect to be a starter. I'm not a backup. I'm good enough to be a starter here. I've shown I can play.
I guess he was upset because he was getting hit a little bit.
So far, I've just being more patient, putting the ball in play. I think that's all I need to do -- keep the same mentality I've got going now into the regular season.
Not aware, but I'm not shocked. I'm pretty much prepared for whatever happens tonight.
It was good to pull out that win. We didn't want to start the season 0-3. Hopefully it will carry over into Toronto.
I guess we just need to get used to the pitching. I don't really care how or when we get them.
It seems like everyone's positive and everyone's going in the right direction for the first time.
I come from an athletic family. Anytime we lift weights, we gain weight.
I was going as soon as the ball hit the bat, it was lucky that it was a chopper. I just ran and hoped to God I was safe.
