Kevin is tough to stop, so we try to get the ball into him and work off the post. He works hard to get open, so when we get it in there he's tough to stop. He also does a good job of feeling the double team coming and kicking it out to the open man.
It feels good to be on the other end of the stick. We can go into Detroit with a little more confidence. They're playing great, they're a solid team and they've had our number all year. We've got to accept the challenge.
We came out flat and gave them too much respect.
We had all the momentum going into the third, and then we sat back. There's no excuse for that.
We battled back. We were behind the eight ball the entire game. They're hungry and you have to mach their intensity.
Two solid periods, then two mental lapses. You can't do that. This will be a tough one to swallow the next two weeks.
That's kind of been the story since the Olympic break. It's nice to get the two points.
You never think you can lose that many in a row, but it sure adds up in a hurry.

I'm just trying to sustain pressure and get it on net. It would have been nice to get the win, though.
It's never good to end it like that.
It's been frustrating. We need to turn those points into wins. We'd be in a different situation if we had taken 15-20 points out of those games. They're huge. We would have been in the hunt for the playoffs. We've got to learn from it, put the past behind us and drive forward.
I didn't expect them to come out and shoot the way they did. They battled really hard. Their defense is really, really good. It was an awesome game.
It was a mind game for a lot of us. They're a tremendous hockey team, and they had had our number.
You wonder about who's coming and when, but we're not worried about it. We know there are good players coming.
It's the time you want to be on the ice. I talked to Mark before the draw and told him that, if I get the puck in the corner, he should go to the far post. We got rewarded.
It's been a long time since we won two games in a row and it's a huge bonus for a lot of guys in here. It's a losing season, but we have to take as many positives as we can out of it.
