I was real pleased that we won this match especially since we had to forfeit two matches. This was a great experience for our guys.
I expect us to make it back to the state tournament. I don't see any reason why we can't make a run at it.
I am glad our younger guys were able to get some valuable playing time and pick up some wins in the process. We are expecting a lot out of Alex and Carson in the future. I hope the victories make their confidence bloom.
I will be counting heavily on the seniors to provide some leadership for this team. We have a great chance to be a special bunch this season.
Our girls are playing good right now. We are going to give our best shot as playoff time approaches.
I was glad that Meg King and Julia Moore got a chance to play today. I was pleased with their performance.
We were missing two of our girls due to another school function. We may be a little rusty after the break.
We let Adam and Robert play doubles together today just to look at some different combinations to see if it will help our team. The two of them did a really nice job.
We will go back to work and try to get better.
We are looking forward to the second part of the section play coming up in the next few weeks. Our sectional tournament will be here soon.
I'm excited about this team. They have a great attitude and are hard workers.
Houston Academy has a really good team. I thought our kids fought hard in spots, but we were beaten by a much better team.
The boys picked up a big win for themselves. This puts us in good position for our sectional tournament.
The girls did a good job this afternoon. We sat our number one and two this afternoon and let everyone move up.
The girls got off to a great start on Saturday. We came away with three doubles victories from the start. Everyone won in singles as well.
Alex, Carson, and Bobby all played higher seeds and won. The accomplishments by those guys were huge for us in this win.
It was a tough loss for the boys. Benjamin Russell has a good boy's team. We were playing without our regular number one, three and six.
This was a big win for our girls. They had a girl out and had to forfeit No. 3 singles and No. 3 doubles matches. Our third-rated player, Kristin Baylor, was out, and we had to substitute her with Meg King in the No. 2 doubles spot.
He played unbelievably and picked up a huge win for us. It is almost unheard of for a number seven player to step in for a number one player and win.
