Now we're sitting here at 0-3, there's a lot of turmoil and how are we going to bounce out of it. There's only two ways to go.

We can fix it. If we don't get it corrected, we're going to have a long year.

I think for the coaches, the players, everybody involved, that is an issue we need to address to go forward,

I think 'Beck' coached the same way this year. One thing about 'Beck', you know he's a little bit crazy from time to time and there are some times when you have to kind of tune him out. But he knows what he's doing. His schemes have been copied all around the league. He's done a great job putting us in position to win. There's no question he's a good football coach.

I think he's frustrated, but I can't speak for him. I think he's kind of got the same feeling as everybody else - things are tough, and we've got to find a way to pull ourselves out of this.

I think you have to take care of your own job, really worry about yourself and really examine how you're playing individually. You have to be a leader; you have to do things the right way.

We have to pull ourselves out of this. This is not a situation where we can look at it and say, 'We'll get them next week.' We have to figure out and really address what's going on. Because if we don't get out of this thing quick, it's going to be a long year.

When we're in a rhythm, we're very effective. But we were very out of sync today.

We can't play like that again or we're going to get him killed. We got what we deserved today, and Brett got hit a lot.

We were a real experienced, old team, everyone was a senior, and he stepped in and never was intimidated. Brooks, when he has a challenge in front of him, he usually comes through. He's a winner.

We've had some success against Tampa Bay running the ball the last two times we played them. We know their scheme, we know what they do. It comes down to us up front, we have to improve on what we're doing.

Stupidity and mistakes aside, I think we had a great shot at winning. We're stuck in a really tough spot. You need a win, you want a win and we just didn't do it.

The thing I've noticed is that he's just even-keeled, ... To be a good offensive lineman in this league, you have to be that way. His personality is low key, but he's very confident.

While I play against some of the strongest athletes in the NFL, I know that off the field, the toughest players are the thousands of hospitalized children who are fighting for their lives each day. That's why I've made this commitment and why I'm asking everyone to join me in making a difference for these kids.

You still realize you're 1-4 (and) you're not anywhere close to where you need to be. You also have to look at the big picture. That's the good thing about this team - nobody's overconfident, thinking we're world-beaters. But now, we're also not thinking that we're the scum of the earth and we can't beat anybody.

That happens every once in a while. Will did a pretty good job stepping in (and starting).

In the six years that I've been here, just from an emotional point of view, this is probably the most difficult loss I've dealt with,

It was like a circus because we kept shooting ourselves in the foot. But at least our wounds were self-inflicted and we can clean those things up.

You could tell the times we were having success, all that movement stuff (in the passing game) was working a lot better. For us to be efficient, we have to have that running game working.

There's been so much change in what we're doing here there hasn't been much time to think about it. I don't know what it's been like for everyone, but it's not like we've been sitting around waiting for Brett to make a decision. In some respect, everyone feels better now that he's coming back. If he retired, it wouldn't have come as a huge shock. Everybody is pretty excited he's coming back.

We continue to turn the ball over, we continue to have penalties and we're not making any plays. When you mix those up, you don't have a lot of success.

And after the game, 'Whit' says, 'Why didn't you change that call?' And I thought, 'Man, this kid is on top of it,' ... That showed me something.
