We want to see how the process came to be. He really matches up a lot of the missing pieces.

We want to see what he was thinking at the time. He's the one who received the employment. Was it something that he sought? Was it something that the companies offered to him?

We're going to look at the Elections Enforcement Commission, how they operated, what they did with the governor's campaign and that may open facts and information beyond just the Elections Enforcement Commission ? issues such as were they pressured into making a settlement agreement.

There's no vacation for ethics. We've got to introduce ... legislation we tried in the past that didn't get raised for debate. We have to be vigilant.

I'm surprised at such a small amount that's being charged for unethical behavior of the commissioners. At the very least, they should be fined the maximum of $2,000.

We feel these documents and information will help us determine more accurately what was going on.

It's highly inappropriate for the campaign manager to be negotiating, in a way, election laws.
