Right from the start, The Inside Track decided to take a look at sports in a serious way, in the way we'd look at any other news topic.

We try to get these stories before they're on the front page.

We took feedback from previous tests and created something that we think would be a good experience for everybody.

We hope we are filling a need in some of our smaller communities. Of those we've signed up so far, most are from smaller towns.

Even before I got there, every year we wondered if the show was going to get cancelled. With every cut you wondered if it was going to be The Inside Track this time.

This year we had one student that moved to Rapid City and was still able to remain in the program. It's really flexible.
