Basically we're one of very few major universities without a conference center related to the campus. The one we're building is actually modest in size. We can add on to it in the future.
It is a suspected case. It is not a confirmed case. We have contacted anyone who has been in close contact with the person who perhaps has mumps, but there's not really a lot you can do to prevent it.
Our goal is to try to touch people who may have no other connection to us. We've found that humor is the best way to do that,
At the University, you're required to be vaccinated. There are about 700 people who are not, and the vaccine does not protect you against every strain.
