Last Friday set us back a day. By (this) Friday, they will all be in school.
We can't get a straight answer. There's just a lot of unknowns right now.
We're going to come up with a plan. Just opening the doors and letting in another 1,100 kids would not be any benefit to them.
The students will be contacted by the schools in regard to registering. At registration they will be told their official start date.
As of right now, we don't have it. Bills have to be paid.
This was an effort made to accommodate teachers in need so that they could continue their jobs and have a place for their kids to go to school.
There were three phases. Those students who attended school prior to Katrina, those students who lived within the parish and attended other schools, and those displaced students from Orleans and Jefferson parishes.
