If anyone would have had an impact on him it would have been Michael, I'm not so sure he didn't shorten Michael's career.

His teammates did not rally around him. At all. They were frustrated, angry, and somewhat sympathetic because they knew what he was going through not only in his professional life but private life.

He made some mistakes playing out of position in crunch time and things like that, but there was no lack of effort. Live and learn. That's what tonight was really about, more than anything else.

There's no question you need leadership with guys like that. With strong leadership you have a chance. But some guys, at some point, are just going to act out. They can't control themselves.

We were pleased. We had some goals that we wanted to meet tonight in terms of minutes played and seeing some of the young guys. We accomplished that and we were very competitive, and I was real happy with that.

We gave ourselves a chance to win. Hopefully we came out of it healthy. I think we did.

We talked about certain things we want to get done tonight, who we want to play, the starting lineup, who's out, obviously, and that kind of stuff. That was it.
