I was telling the coach before the game let me throw deep. I had a feeling because of the way I was throwing in practice all week. I told everyone before the game, I'm feeling hot. If this was a basketball game, I was going to score 50 points.

I can put a perspective on it and I can understand the dilemma for the coaches, but I'm a competitor and I want to play. I feel I deserve every chance to prove myself and to play. But I do realize there's somebody I'm competing with who happens also to be a pretty good quarterback. I'm just trying to control what I can control and not let anything else bring me down or frustrate me.
