Some of these people are still in responsible positions in the government. Perhaps they shouldn't be.
I think it's shameful that they didn't warn the American people.
I think this commission should point fingers. I am not suggesting you find scapegoats, someone to hang out to dry. But there were people, people in responsible positions, who failed us on 9/11.
The worst feeling was helplessness. I'm done being helpless. I need to be on the front line. Few other things can occupy my mind. I can't read books. I can't watch movies. They can't distract me from the hurt.
Without the independent commission to understand what went wrong on 9/11, we are not going to be able to fix the problems that allowed these terrorists to kill 3,000 people a year ago.
They sent a questionnaire asking us to describe our situation and the impact of the crime on us.
I am not aware of anyone who has not received it.
I am mad and everyone who looks long enough will see that another attack of a different nature could be pulled off tomorrow. The government is taking too long to make changes.
