I thought that on the first night, against Deer Lodge, we played well. It was one of the best games we've played. The team was pretty tenacious.
We couldn't buy a bucket. We got some good looks, but they didn't go.
We were a better defensive team (against Loyola). They held their composure to play a good game.
We got down way early and had to claw back. We picked up the defensive energy and had some guys get some good shots. We blocked their last shot for the win.
We didn't play real well, it was out of our the 'norm'. We couldn't buy a bucket. We couldn't get a call. We just didn't do well. I can't explain it. It just wasn't the way we usually play.
We are just going to let it play out and see where the cards lie.
We played a good first half but our execution, defense and our teamwork all started lacking in the second half.
We didn't have a good fourth quarter. We should have won that.
We don't look at the individual scoring we look at the score at the end.
We always expect to win. If you don't expect it you've defeated yourself. You just let the marbles play out.
The team was upset about losing. They wanted to win.
It was too much individual stuff and not enough teamwork.
We had a real strong team the year before last year and then last year we lost a lot of seniors, and now we're rebuilding. This year we have 10 freshmen so we are rebuilding even more.
The kids off the bench played well but we were playing without two of our guys. Riley Bailey had the flu and Avery Old Coyote hurt his Achilles heel and we got into some foul trouble.
It took a lot of energy to play away and win and then travel again on Saturday.
Hopefully it was a wake-up call for us. T.Falls just came hungry and played harder.
It was one of the finest games I've seen. It was incredible. No one really lost -- someone just had to win. The ball just bounced our way at the end.
It's a wide open race. Our goal is to make it to state.
