We leave it up to each individual whether they choose to support it by wearing white that day, or staying home, or not going to work, or if they have to go to work, wear white.
We're standing in unity with the national movement. But we're not actually calling for everyone to miss work or not go to school.
We're not asking anybody to lose their job over this effort.
This day is being called 'A Day Without Immigrants,' May First.
If people do decide to stay at home from work, we invite them to stay at home and stay at home with their families. It's not a festive day. It's a day of silence and of abstinence.
