John Roberts has a broad, expansive understanding of the application of the Constitution. He did say the core principles of liberty and due process have broad meaning as applied to evolving societal conditions.
The extremists took over the primary process.
The sooner we get into a hearing room where there's a stenographer and public record, the better off the process is,
very thorough and piercing confirmation process with very, very detailed questions on what Judge Roberts has said in the past.
The White House has understandably been interested in an early confirmation process ... that is not, in my judgment, practical or realistic.
The whole confirmation process is in her hands. If she does well (in her public testimony) she will be confirmed. It's up to her as to how well she does.
