That would be unbelievable. I don't know how probability works. Every time you go to the race track you have the same chance of winning no matter how you performed in the past, so I'm trying not to think about what happened before -- just go out and do the same thing we did the first time and the second time and if we get the same result, man, that would be unbelievable.

To avoid this kind of wreck, you just can't race hard when you're in a tight space, ... You gotta be smart.

We felt like if everything went well and we got some lucky breaks and a caution at the end that we would be sitting good at the end of the race on fresh tires. I am telling you what the big win for the day was that we had a lot of fun. Racing with Jeff Burton and Greg Biffle that was great fun.

Running both series helped me in a bunch of ways. The first thing is I just got to race more. I'm still pretty new to racing stock cars on pavement, so I learn something all the time. The other thing is that it's just fun. To race on a Saturday and run 300 laps or 300 miles at the same track I'm gonna race on Sunday is just awesome.

I'm not the greatest qualifier and I'm learning a lot. I'm really excited to get to start up front in a race that we really need to run well in.

I've learned a lot about New Hampshire over the last couple of races, ... It's flat and fast and I think I'm improving with every lap that I run there.We accomplished making the 'Chase' but now it's time to focus on going after the championship. We have a great team and great race cars so if we can run consistently up front I don't think there's any reason why we couldn't be in contention for the big prize.

It will be great to be back in Charlotte this weekend. It's always good to race close to home. We had a disappointing race there earlier this season and we know that we can run well there. They have a new surface on the track and that will make the track very fast and I like fast. That will be awesome and work to our advantage. The team plans on focusing on a top five finish and hopefully shake off some of this bad luck we have been experiencing. We have a great team and we plan on showing that at Lowe's.

I just got a poor restart at the last start and we couldn't do anything with Reed or Kevin. It was an acceptable race but not really what we wanted.

I just look forward to the few hours every week when I get to sit in a race car and enjoy it. That's the part that I really like.

If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. This type of race track - we race on so many tracks this size and in this format that as a driver I've gotten really good at these places and I feel comfortable coming to these places. As a team we've developed some awesome cars. We went out there and I think we were third in the first practice today. It's pretty straightforward. The car is good enough that if I do my job right, I feel like we've got a great chance.

This is was my first race with a new crew chief. I think we're going to win a lot of races.
