We want to make sure the stores have the flexibility to utilize associates in a way that allows them to more efficiently and effectively serve customers.
Part of this process is looking at staffing needs going forward. We believe the changes will allow stores additional flexibility ... to serve our customers.
We are not ditching the (Sears Essentials) format. We are retooling it. The next wave of stores will have a number of exciting improvements to the off-mall format.
Every retailer does this every year. They look at the stores to determine if they're providing the appropriate customer service, and if they fit in with the strategy.
Some stores aren't impacted at all, some stores need some more people and some stores will adjust their numbers based on their particular needs.
