I would like to take this opportunity to thank Alex McLeish for his achievements, having secured seven trophies in four-and-a-half years.

Alex McLeish has enjoyed a highly successful period winning seven trophies over four-and-half years and during this time there has been significant financial constraints throughout the football environment in general.

If not, reluctantly, Alex would have to go.

Everybody must get behind Alex so we can finish second in the League. And the players must also demonstrate they want to play for our club in the future under the new manager.

I'll stand by what I said about giving Alex a chance.
