David Wright Couple Quotations

Just because we started 8-2, that means nothing come September. But I think if you ask anybody in here, we're pretty satisfied with how the first 10 games have gone. We've got to keep at it. I can work on drills and footwork all day, but if I don't feel comfortable, it's not going to matter. As a young player, especially in New York, you make a couple of errors early and you start pressing a little bit. I've got to relax. I've thrown so many balls over to first base, I can probably do it blindfolded.

It was a springboard. They just find ways to answer back and the way to do it big. I've kind of followed the Mets growing up and the last couple years in the minor leagues. He seems to always be the one to drop the hammer. He comes up big in the clutch. That's what makes him great.
