He got it going and got a good rhythm and we didn't guard him as well as we needed to. That's a credit to him. He did a good job when the chips were on the line.
We just haven't shot the ball well and he's been able to score inside. He's highly competitive, kind of like the Anderson twins when they played for us. So you know you're going to get a good effort out of him.
We're all kind of happy. To perform at a pretty high level gives us some incentive that we're capable of maybe doing some better things. ... We were pretty darn good defensively.
We're trying to re-establish ourselves. We had a pretty good start, we've gone into a little bit of a drought and we're trying to get it back.
(Wallace is) a good friend, I have a lot of respect for him, and obviously don't necessarily enjoy playing against him, last time we did they got us pretty good. But I have a lot of respect from his program and what he's done here.
Brody is concerned primarily with getting the ball to other people. Calvin's a good guy to give it to because he can shoot the ball.
Randy was a very good high school athlete. He walked on with us and probably didn't like me too much because I kind of encouraged him to try baseball.
I'm tremendously optimistic about John's future and his ability to play the game. He's very bright, understands basketball, has great hands, is a good passer and has a nice shooting touch. He's well aware of the fact that conditioning will be a major factor in his development.
The big difference in the game from our perspective was we didn't make enough shots. Maybe the emotions of the game just took us out of a good rhythm.
