More years than not we've played better than we were. Last year, I'd be the first one to admit, we had a better team than our record.

Last year, we just had a group of players who came together and played as a team. Hopefully, this year's team can do the same thing.

The guy played really fantastic for an opening ballgame, very much in control, ... I think he had one poor check, and that was it. For a game that was moving as fast as that one was, I think that was a great opening game for him. I think you'll see him get better each and every week.

He's improved . . . but I think he has a ways to go. He's played with some injuries. He's a tough, tough kid. We have a few hours before game time. We'll see.
