I felt good about the way our pitchers played except for probably three of the 12. But in three games we gave up three runs or less. If we can continue to do that, we'll win a bunch of games.

We made some mistakes during critical times of the game. But, overall, I felt like we played well. We're improving everyday; we just have to continue to get better.

Right now our total energy is based on Arizona and trying to play better than how we played against the Bruins on Saturday. I think it's premature to respond to anything relating to the NIT.

It feels great. We came out and played really hard. Before the game, people were saying we were going to get blown out.

I thought we played great team defense for about three quarters. We were able to transition our offense off our defense and that made a difference. The girls know that they control their own destiny. If we keep winning, we'll have a shot at making it to district.

We came out and played well in the first quarter. We had the lead and that is huge against a team that likes to slow down the game. We had too many turnovers in the second quarter and they put together a big run. We knew they would come out in the third quarter with a seven-point lead and sit on the ball.

Well, it was a little bit of surprise that it happened the way it did. I was very happy with the way we competed and played to win the game against Minnesota, but the unexpected came after the game when we heard about Duluth and I don't think anyone anticipated Duluth losing. But it was a pleasant surprise that luck worked out for us and things fell into place.

Coming in with a 2-11 record, for us to start a good like that was huge for our confidence. We've played in games this season not called as tight and we're not strong enough to counter that, so to get to the foul line and getting them off of us definitely helped our offense.

I?m pleased with everything (Sunday). It was nice to see Tyler get his first Triple-A home run, and we played good defense. The pitching was outstanding. It was good stuff all around.

It was between Christmas and New Years. The teams gathered together in Kansas City and played the tournament.
