We have to be patient. Joe will get it.
Joe is going to be our guy and we're going to go with it.
Joe took the game pretty hard. He just needs to know we're behind him 100 percent.
I was a little shocked that Joe struggled like he did,
We'll make a decision on who's best for us offensively. Nate will take the first snaps of the fall, but it really doesn't matter. Joe sat out today but did a great job throughout the spring and will definitely be in the mix during the fall.
I knew we'd be OK. Joe had a good day throwing the ball and he ran the offense really well. He has a lot of potential.
I obviously haven't done enough of the coaching or preparation you need to do, so we're not going to give up on him as a kid or a player. You can work on a lot of things in practice, but how do you simulate a game? That's where Joe is facing his biggest struggles.
