I think he's handling it great. I don't think he is going out of his zone a lot. He's taking what they give him. You see him always hit the ball to the right side, if that's what they're giving him. Very seldom do you see him move his swing. That means to me he is handling it great.
Sometimes you have some young pitchers who get too fine. And you have to bring them back in the zone and understand that you expand the zone when you get ahead, not before you get strike one.
The game always looks better when you hit. Guys swung at pitches in the zone that they liked.
It's about staying down in the zone and making your pitches and (Vargas) struggled with that. He was missing location. That's going to happen. It happens to great pitchers. It happens to all pitchers.
