I think there is a statewide concern that we have a shiny new system that no one has any real confidence will work.

The state is covering up a problem with the voter registration system by trying to legislate rather than fixing the problem with the system.

This new system does not eliminate duplicate registrations. I believe I'm a duplicate registration. I hadn't noticed that.

I hope that the system will not crash and that we won't be able to print our poll books, or we won't be able to run a voter check when someone shows up and wasn't put on a poll book when they should have been.

I hope that I'm wrong. I hope that I'm wrong in that this system will take care of those problems. But the fact is, we just don't know.

That is absolutely probably the worst downfall that this system could have if we are not able to print poll books to get to the precincts so that people can vote on Election Day.
