Darrel Mitchell is without question the most valuable player in the SEC in my opinion. He is the most consistent player. Other guys may have had better games, but he has good game and after good game and has not had an off night yet.

Darrel's been very good at getting shots in transition. When he gets it on an outlet pass, he is so fast. He can make a three on the dead sprint or if you go out on him, he'll go right by you and take it to the hole. I would hate to have to guard Darrel Mitchell, especially the way he was playing in the first half.

I wanted to play a good team from a different region. It's a TV game. We played at Connecticut this year, and we're going to play them at our place next year. After this one, Washington is coming to our place.

Their two guards could start for anybody in our league. But he combines power with finesse. He's got great footwork, tremendous hands; he can shoot the ball up to 17, 18 feet good enough. And he can put it on the floor and go by you, so he's pretty much a complete basketball player.

They are very smart, very tough, good basketball players who know what they are doing. They are a dangerous team in that they can score baskets easily at any given time.
