I was very happy with the way the girls played. They also communicated well. Kaylin Montgomery may have had one of her better offensive matches of the season. Jenna Sievers played very well defensively.

We played well enough to win. The girls came out flat, but they didn't quit and made it through. It was a tough match. South Knox has improved since we scrimmaged against them.

After winning the first game, the kids seemed to relax and lose focus. They fought back and really played like a team on a mission. Several of the girls had season highs in kills and digs. It was a very exciting match.

Forest Park doesn't make a lot of mistakes and our kids were pretty tired. We had played matches three straight days and we couldn't get a lot of fire out of the kids. This was also the first full week of school. I think they are ready for a weekend break.

It might have been the best match we've played all year. The girls stuck together as a team. They did a good job of blocking. They got their hands on a lot of balls.
