I think they probably think they have an advantage, being there before, but it may be an advantage for us that they're thinking that they're expected to win and with us going in as an underdog. I don't like to look at variables like that, but I know that if our kids play the way we know they can, we'll be fine.

We started the program nine years ago with kids that were just learning to play hockey, so this is a fulfilling day for me and a lot of original parents who helped for the organization. We're extremely proud of these kids, particularly, and for all the people who laid the groundwork.

I'm just so proud of these kids. It's been a long journey, but a great journey we've enjoyed along the way. Knowing these kids as long as I've known them, I'm really happy for them.
