Willie has as much physical talent as anybody I've seen since I've been here. He's a good kid. Obviously, everybody knows he's just extremely talented. If he gets out on the field, he's just a playmaker. He's going to be able to impact a game.

Well, I was counting on both of those (JV) kids. We have good varsity and JV kids at both of those weights, so I was really banking on that to happen.

We kept it really simple. We probably ran about 25 percent of the stuff we've been running, so it's not really a good indication of how the spring went for us.

They hung in the game as long we were going to let them. We put some good drives together, but we didn't finish them off. I don't think that score was really indicative of what it could have been.

We finished strong and had a couple of scores. There was definite improvement. That's why we practice. There were some good things and some bad things. That's why we have nine more practices.
