This was a great weekend overall for us. We beat two top-of-the-conference teams.

I'm pleased overall. After they beat us, they went on to upset Michigan, who at the time was ranked No. 22 in the U.S. So I'm happy with how we were able to play with them.

Danielle's a freshman, and there was a lot of pressure, but she worked really hard and changed her game. She was up, then down, then up again. I feel great. This was a roller coaster match. I was very pleased, especially considering they beat us last year 7-0.

The No. 1 and No. 2 singles bounced back. They beat the same girls they had a problem with last year.

It will be nice to play on a consistent surface in warm weather, as opposed to here. We are going to play some nationally ranked teams, but we can beat anyone -- we just have to be confident when we step on the court.
