He's certainly performed that well on the field, but off the field he's still struggling to cope with a few things. And that's probably more of what I was talking about, not being ready, being able to handle everything that's happened.
I thought we played good defense and started rebounding a little bit better this game. We gave up a few too many rebounds inside, at times, but it's a good rebounding team.
This was a sacred day ù a very delicate kind of thing. There was that little period where there was a no-fly zone on this subject matter, with a few exceptions. Probably now, enough time has passed and we're getting new perspective on this.
We've obviously got to be a better tackling team, we've got to work on our eyes, feet, ball skills, all of those things. That's one thing in an open date, you really look at some things. We, really, over the next few days need to focus on ourselves and get better.
A few things conspired against me. The club (Lierse) got a new coach and I got a knee injury that sidelined me for some time. It put me back and by the time I returned, the coach was not interested in me any more. That's how it goes in professional football.
And I don't mean just a few extra dollars. You really need several thousand dollars more per month to pull yourself out of the hole millions of Americans are finding themselves in.
