(Forward) continues to operate its business flawlessly and each quarter management seems to improve upon its previous record quarter for profitability. Still, given what feels like increased competitive headwinds... we believe caution is warranted.

If the company said it was a one-quarter event, then I think the downside would have been limited. But given the guidance we received, which is that growth is likely to slow because the company is so large, that will ratchet down the numbers for fiscal 2001, and that's probably where the damage is going to come from.

The real short-term outlook for us is pretty positive given that we don't see a Fed rate hike in August and that due to political noise, if you will, we are not going to see a rate hike in October. But on the earnings front it is a different issue. Looking into 2000, our longer-term forecast, we've had two great years of earnings growth. We think it is going to be pretty difficult to show up with another year of 30-to-40 percent earnings growth. So, consequently, our message has been a lot more selective about the securities that we want investors to focus on.

A lot of teams are keying on Stan. What people don't realize is that they're keying on him so much, it's opening up things for others. It's given other people opportunities to score. Cage has been playing really good. He's been playing great actually - rebounding and doing everything.

They say that, given the improvements in Charlotte's situation and given her continuing improvement, the doctors should not have in their back pockets an open consent from the court to let Charlotte die regardless of the circumstances at the time and regardless of the views of her parents.

I'm surprised the Swiss franc is not stronger given the tape was authenticated.
