To be honest, at the beginning of the year, in Maui, I tried to force the issue with scoring. Coach (Olson) basically said to play within the offense, get open shots. So I bought into that. I've grown a lot. I've seen a lot of improvement in my game.
Coach said this is probably the toughest part of our schedule by far. We have to make sure we focus.
Coach hasn't talked about it at all. But I think I've seen the shot.
Coach mixed up the teams today and gave me an opportunity to go out there and start playing again with my teammates.
I'm glad coach has a lot of confidence in me. When he brought me to the program, he sat me down and said he expected a lot of things out of me as far as making an impact early, so definitely, that was one of my biggest reasons for choosing Arizona.
That isn't going to do it. Twenty-five minutes? Coach told us if we play 40 minutes, we can be the best team in the league.
I have to sit down with coach (Jim Calhoun) and sit down with my family. I'm still just thinking about the game. I've just been focusing on game after game, not thinking about the future.
All they're doing is saying something that happened. It's not like they're threatening me. I can take that. I hear Coach every day.
We felt we had better athletes on the perimeter than they did. Coach told me and Hassan to get in there and get nasty on the glass.
