It is normal for ?in the rail yard' cars to not have air in their breaks. The reason is you're separating cars from a train. In order for the cars to move freely, their breaks don't have air.
As they're sorting cars for each destination, the locomotive or the set of rail cars has to go back and forth ... and change the routing of rail cars to another track, ... I know it's very frustrating to see that.
The one question that comes to our mind is how will the merger be viewed by rail shippers overall,
