Our only focus from now on is to turn this thing around. We have to get back to playing the way we did. The way we're playing right now, it hasn't even been two weeks. Before that we were playing really good hockey and we could beat any team in the league. We have to climb back to that, and it's going to take all of us in the dressing room. I'm not surprised. I watched him play in the world championships last year, and all I hear from Detroit is how great he's been playing there. He's an excellent defenseman and what a game he had tonight, coming in first game like that.

It's frustrating. Any time you lose, you're looking for answers and you want to be better and you're not happy but it's the National Hockey League and when you're not playing up to your ability, you're not going to win a lot of hockey games and tonight was one of those nights.
