He is very much in the mix. He's really improved every year he has been here. His mobility is better. He's stronger and he has always had great offensive instincts. You combine that with the confidence level he has now, he has played extremely well. He will be a guy who is given serious consideration.

He's an older guy who's played a lot of hockey in a lot of different leagues and for him to persevere and to be persistent with his career and strive to get to the NHL I think is a compliment to his character. He's certainly taken advantage of an opportunity and he has been a key ingredient in us having some success in the last few weeks.

I can relate to him just through the experience that he's been through in the past. He's a guy who has been in and out of the lineup or has been on the back end of the lineup and was trying to earn a spot on the team or find his niche. Certainly last year he was given an opportunity to play on an offensive line and have the chance to produce on the offensive side of the equation, and to his credit he's shown that he's capable.
