I didn't write the songs I sing in the movie. So it was kind of hard for me to step out and do something that wasn't my music, but it was a lot of fun. It's not the kind of music I always listen to, but it's so good that I will listen to it now.

Getting your kids to read around other kids can help improve their level of reading greatly, ... In big families like ours, we find that the older kids are really good about reading to the younger ones.

Some guys have played well when they first get out here and some didn't, ... I'm happy with my day. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was good to see a lot of these guys again.

Reggie, Michael and J.D. are coming along well. I'm really proud of how the three of them look thus far in the season. The other ones are learning. Most of the other ones, this is their first year, but they've got good basics and good mechanics, so I think we'll improve as the season goes.

Our view on it is simply with what we know of Mattoon. We compete against them in a few sports already. Our boys' soccer teams play. Our baseball teams play. Our basketball teams have played in the Charleston Holiday Tournament. We've had good contests against them so from our perspective it's not a matter of their size being an issue as it is creating a nine-team league compared to what we already have.

It is so important for parents to read in front of their child, so the child knows how much reading can teach them, ... I make sure I am reading books around my children to set good examples for reading throughout life.

I think it's a good idea. Anytime you get more than two people together to talk about any issue, you stimulate the minds and it brings forth ideas that otherwise would not have been thought of.

We have some talented post players for being undersized. They do a good job of getting into position for rebounds as well as getting open for a pass on offense, but we have to work on better passes into those girls because that cost us some of our turnovers tonight. I can't say enough about Jenna Johnston and Jillian Rhoads. For Jenna to score the way she does is a tribute to her work ethic, and for Jillian and her hustle out on the floor.

We're trying to work very hard at preparing to play a very good team, ... They have a lot of weapons to defend.

We've got good earnings coming out, and in the end that's what's going to drive the market.

We started fast and did some good things early.

It was ugly but a win is a win. I'll take any win we can get. We came out flat and fell behind early. We battled back with four runs in the fifth and five in the sixth. It was one of those types of games where we didn't play well. It's hard to win games when you don't pitch well and don't play good defense. We hung around and didn't quit. That makes me very happy. The kids have started to believe they can win, even when things are bad. That's a major step in the right direction.

Thanks for the suggestion. We hadn't though about that, but that's a good idea.

As long as there are girls, we need guy bands. However, in this day, it is not good enough to just sing great. You have to write, sing and play. We want it all.

A lot of females in the community don't have guidance that they need to become young women. I feel that it's just as important for females to have a good mentor as it is for young men.

There's a few potholes in the road, but the earnings numbers are coming in pretty good and the Street expects those numbers to continue.

I've always felt that two hospitals was good for the community. The competition has kept both hospitals on their toes.

This is not how I imagined the day would end. Even after we had our pole position taken away from us, I was confident of a good result. Everyone knew we had the fastest car and there were only two drivers in front of me, but it was not to be.

I'm very happy with my day. I was a little nervous starting out, but I made some good putts early, which was good.

He's shown good awareness on the ball and has definitely done enough for us to want to take it further. We're looking forward to working with him and getting him involved either this season or next.

Apparently this is my year to be the first. I was just shocked when they told me. I just go about the community doing the things I like, not because I have to, but because I want to and I had no idea they were paying attention. I'm just so proud to serve as the Grand Marshall. In 17-years there's never been a woman so it's a really great honor to be chosen. I just feel like what you do in the community is so important. It's kind of like the what goes around, comes around thing. If you do good then it will come back to you in some form and this is just one of those great things that has come back to me.

The dollar has had a good run from last week. It's time to pull back.

You don't want rampant development without any direction, ... I think Sanford needs development that will be good for the community over the next 30 years.

It's a good opportunity for the golfers at Silver Lake to try out the Men's Day at the other courses that have this event.

I did a little practice. I watched the college dunk contest on TV. I've always played H-OR-S-E. I've just never won before because (former teammate) Ashley Gates was too good of a shooter.
