Obviously we're looking a relief rally here. The hurricane damage was less expected, and that has sent oil slightly lower. But in the next few days we'll see an increase in pre-earnings warnings that will in the short-term will contain the rally.

Now that the market has made a tremendous upward move and the large cap stocks are at their highs, more people are looking at smaller companies for some better values.

I think the market has gone ahead of itself and I am looking for this market to pull back somewhere between five and six percent within the next six to seven weeks.

Earnings news has been discounted and investors are looking for a reason to take money off the table, ... Today, they found that reason in Microsoft's sales projections.

Again, I think we're going to see a lot of revenue growth coming within the next quarter or so, and I believe that it's basically an infrastructure B2B for the Internet, where you can research engines, where you can create your own agents and what not, and management is doing a great job. I just think they're very cheap. There's no core news for this to happen -- I just think a lot of these stocks have been badly beaten down and investors are starting to get around to looking at them.

Any time Philip Morris ( MO ) comes into some pressure, I like to accumulate it. I think we're looking at a stock that has a lot of value here. I think for investors that want a safe bet, Philip Morris is a great buy.

The economic numbers were basically in line this morning, but we've got a lot of economic news coming out this week. Earnings are pretty much over with, and they were pretty mixed, so investors are now looking to see that the economy won't stall in the second quarter before they're going to be willing to buy.

All in all, I think we're looking at a mixed reading in economic data but pointing to growth ahead. I think it'll continue to support a bullish atmosphere. Right now we're just looking at cautious trading ahead of the numbers and due to Europe being a little soft.

This is market that is churning, and moving back and forth. Nasdaq seems like it is looking for a base from which to rally.

EBay came out with good numbers, but the outlook for the fourth quarter and next year wasn't so good, ... We're probably looking at a lower open, with a mixed trading session, as people respond to individual earnings and keep an eye on the price of oil.

They (G7 countries) may whistle a different tune in terms of assisting different markets, but behind the scenes they're looking at the situation.
