For many months, the 'old economy' stocks were out of favor, but now people are starting to take some money off the (technology stock) table.

It's a pick-and-choose market here. My thought is that (the Fed) is going to stay pat and they're going to use some tough language. We're going to see a vigilant Fed, and that should keep the markets on the defensive.

It might add to some short-term weakness, but it's not going to have any major effect. When you really analyze it, we had a good stock market in an era of gridlock.

It's a little bit of a divergent market. There's some money on the sidelines coming into the tech stocks, and any meaningful rally from here will probably be led by the tech group.
