I don't think our kids handled the physical play, to be honest. I, obviously, took a technical for asking for holding, which I don't think we handled all that well. The frustration from that carried into how bad they played.
I bring it up, and the kids are so relieved and the parents are so relieved. But they would probably go without asking the question otherwise, which is really dumb.
We told the kids we want to go from the outhouse to the penthouse. It's like a bad GPA. When you have a bad GPA, every semester you could knock the socks off and you're just going see it move a little bit.
Our kids were patient, just like I asked them to be.
I thought my kids played really hard. A lot of things were memorable.
We're happy to be here one more night. We fought very, very hard, our kids were patient and we came up on the winning side.
I've never seen two kids control a game so much in my life.
Any time you play a new coach it's hard because we really don't know their stuff yet. Their kids are playing with great energy because they have a new coach.
They only have 10 kids on their team. It could be us looking in the mirror. We're going to slug it out.
