One thing about Daniel is he does take a lot of pride in wanting to guard people. If I called a time out, say someone is playing really well, and I say 'who wants to guard them?' There's no doubt he puts his hand up quicker than anybody.
We have to have Daniel playing and thinking that way for this team to play to its potential.
We proved against Kansas we can win without Daniel being a big presence for us on offense. You don't want to see that. But if it happens, in those 40 minutes, you've got to find someone else who can step up and get it done for you.
There's no question when Daniel plays aggressive and plays to his abilities, we're at our best.
I have no problem with Daniel attempting to find out what his status may be in the upcoming draft. This is a good rule put in place for players to explore their draft status.
Daniel Gibson 's demeanor throughout the whole game was good. What he's done the last couple games is what he's capable of. Everyone's happy and proud of him.
Daniel will be fine. There's going to be nights you're not going to shoot the ball well. We still shot 50 percent for the game and scored 90 points.
There might be nights where the offense isn't there. The bottom line is, Daniel has really been excellent on the defensive end.
