There is just not that much revenue coming out of Pittsburgh.

December's holiday travel was strong, and we continued our trend of double-digit year-over-year improvement in both revenue per available seat mile (RASM) and yield for the east and west networks. We are also especially proud of the US Airways team for delivering outstanding customer service to over 2.4 million customers during the recent holiday travel season.

The revenue environment so far continues to outpace the growth in fuel price.

An overwhelmingly positive response from our customers and a positive revenue impact for the airline has prompted us to continue spreading our consumer-friendly pricing structure across even more of our network. We've made great strides in introducing a low cost pricing structure to many East Coast markets that were not previously served by a low-cost carrier.

It's a gangbusters revenue environment out there right now, and we really like our position.
