Leah hurt her back before the game and went two innings. We then went to Sam but we dug ourselves a little hole.

When Leah got hurt, Sam was kind of our only pitcher. She went through a stretch where she had the ball every game and she handled that very well. And once they started pitching in tandem, it helped us a lot.

We weren't as sharp in the early going of game two as we should have been. We made some mistakes in the field. But Aurora threw very well and we picked it up as the game went along.

It was kind of a tough situation for Leah. She was coming off a perfect game the last time out. And it was senior day, which adds even more emotion to it. But she did a really nice job of settling down. And the team responded in the final couple of innings.

We hit the ball better (the second game). We're struggling playing defense. In the first game we had mental errors. In the second game we had physical errors, but we cut down on the mental errors. With enough repetitions, the physical errors should go down.
